LEARNER TO INSTRUCTOR INTERACTIONS

Relevance: Learner to Instructor interaction is vitally important to the success of online learning. Just like the traditional classroom, students need feedback and communication with the teacher in order to progress.

Module Description:

Teacher - Student

This module will focus on the importance of Learner to Instructor Interactions in a virtual setting including all engagement domains. Within this module, Charlottesville City Schools educators will also explore various digital tools that can be used to create meaningful Learner to Instructor communication.

Expected Time of Completion:

This module should take about 2 hours of time, which will provide 2 PL points for those that complete the module.

CCS Educators will:

Learn the importance of Learner to Instructor interactions in a virtual setting.
Discover digital tools that will help with the engagement of all students.

Success criteria

Educators will show understanding of how Learner to Instructor interactions aid in engaging students emotionally, behaviorally, and cognitively in a virtual setting by scoring at least a 80% on the Learner to Learner Check for Understanding.
Educators will create an example of a Learner to Instructor experience for their students that will be submitted in the Learner to Instructor Interaction Submission page in the module.
